“CrownRoyal”

Frank & Sue traveled to New Zealand February 2024 to put a check on their bucket list. Frank & Sue had met a hunting guide friend years before, Rachel Stewart, Leithen Valley Hunts. Leithen Valley is a family owned and operated operation. Rachel invited us to come by. They were not really interested in hunting anything. They were more interested to travel and see New Zealand.  But of coarse, while there, Rachel talked Sue into shooting a fallow deer. Frank & Sue had a great time at Leithen Valley lodge where Rachel had thousands of Red Stag. Frank & Sue travel all over the 10’s of thousands of acres of land. They watched  & observed many stag, plus saw successful hunters after taking their stag. Rachel wanted a nice table top bronze of one small enough that would be easy to move from place to place. Frank was inspired to do this for Rachel. He had so many photos from Leithen Valley staff plus tons of other photos. Once Frank started, Sue would send pictures for critic.  Though out the next months, Frank worked on the piece which finally made it to the foundry for casting by November 2024. Frank & sue wanted it finished for the Wild Sheep Foundation 2025 Convention in January.
